Women have come quite a long way since the days of the “damsel in distress” who waited for the man to fix everything while she made a roast and minded the children. Nowadays, you’re more likely to find women in film who are not only independent, but who can beat the crap out of anyone and their army.
Save for the superhero genre, the women listed here managed to kick some serious butt without needing anything more than some training, a stunt double and, of course, a great film director.
Here now are the best female fight scenes in film.
Female fight scenes #10

In one scene, Porter’s friend Pearl (Liu) is a dominatrix who, draped in her latex-wear manages to kick the crap out of out of one of her customers.
Pearl: [seductively] I’ve got a few minutes.
Porter: So go boil an egg.

When the two engage in a great action fighting scene, although Lori gets the beating in the end, she really gives Quaid a run for his money.

In the movie, Moon (Ziyi) who is Broken Sword’s (Tony Leung Chiu Wai) fiercely loyal servant, and Flying Snow (Cheung), who is Broken Sword’s lover, end up engaging in a sword battle surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. What makes it so appealing is that Moon cannot defeat Flying Snow no matter how hard she tries, but Flying Snow does not want to show her what she’s really made of. When she finally gives in, Moon tastes defeat.
Moon: I am going to kill you and avenge my master!
