He has a new “friend”

You know all of his friends and even hang out with them often, but suddenly there’s a new guy in town and you’ve never heard anyone mention him before. This “Todd” guy is a puzzle wrapped up in an enigma.

Suddenly he’s hanging out with Todd often and Todd is often the alibi when you he can’t account for why he didn’t pick up his phone when you called. When you ask to meet Todd, your cheating boyfriend manages to evade the topic by distracting you with an argument or excuse.

Everything suddenly has a password

Whereas you were once able to access all his information via email, phone and the like, now you can’t get into anything of his because everything is password protected. Seems like your boyfriend has something to hide.

And if you confront him (believe it or not, most women wouldn’t), he’ll pick a fight with you or tell you it was an accident.

He accuses you of cheating

Suddenly, he starts playing the interrogator in the relationship and starts making bizarre accusations about you cheating on him and his suspicions seem to be growing and becoming irrational.

It’s common for cheaters to suspect their significant others of cheating simply because they believe that if they are getting away with it, you likely can too. As well, this is how many cheaters deal with their guilt; they try to make themselves feel better by turning the tables.

Your gut tells you so

At the end of the day, there’s nothing better than instinct to tell you that your guy is cheating. Now I’m not talking about that irrational mentality wherein if your guy buys you flowers out of the blue it means he’s banging Suzy in accounting; rather if you are otherwise a secure woman who can’t shake the feeling that something is going on behind your back, you probably have a legitimate reason for feeling this way.

Trust your instincts and if you feel certain that he’s messing around, show him the door and get on with your life.

He’s cheating on you

Don’t be a sucker; if all signs point to infidelity, don’t wait until you have the smoking gun before taking off. Wasting your time waiting for solid proof is useless, especially if your suspicions are beginning to ruin your relationship anyway.

The last thing you want is to end up on Maury and discover that not only is he cheating, but he fathered 7 children in 6 other states.

You can tell if your man is cheating if he is suddenly always broke. He’s broke because he is spending all of his money on the other woman. Watch as to whether he is paying with cash and making more frequent ATM withdrawals to cover his paper trail. Check any receipts, bill’s or stubs that you may have access to.
